Hottest Advertising Medium of the 3rd Millenium

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

It has been said that electronic video boards are considered the hottest outdoor advertising medium of the 3rd Millenium.

Outdoor electronic billboards are now capable of performing like a real outdoor television, even under direct sunlight, thanks to the development of new true color, ultra-bright LED technology.  The picture is bright and beautiful, especially at night, with millions of bright colors on display.

Regular poster billboards, even though attractive when newly installed, can become boring, dull and even unnoticed after only a few weeks, compared to an electronic video advertising screen that constantly refreshes itself.  Sounds can also be added to video boards on special events, further turning it into a giant outdoor TV.

Operated by PC, this type of board can display any TV commercial, any live event, any useful information, and any breaking news instantly, from any remote location.

The ideal location for this type of advertising board is a very busy street (either full of pedestrians and/or vehicles with slow traffic), a major intersection, or a large sporting event.

However, it is not recommended to be installed on a high-speed highway or major streets, even if car traffic count is high, because people won’t have time to see many ads or video clips.

A Text from Panther Softball Coach Eric Ryan

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Under normal circumstances, my head hits the pillow and sleep takes over somewhere between 9:45 and 10:00pm every evening.

After the in-augural game at the Panther Softball Park (home of the state’s largest high school video board display), the adrenalin from all the excitement of unveiling ads and cool graphics created by YourAdTeam for the video board, kept me up til nearly 11:00pm. Wow, that’s late! :)

Shortly after 10pm, I got a text from Coach Eric Ryan (head coach for Panther Softball).  It went something like this:

Thanks for all the work in creating an amazing show on the video board display… things went great. The National Anthem (sung a cappella by Shelly Bradley) really set the tone.

- Coach Eric Ryan

Here’s a shout out to Shelly Bradley for her amazing performance.  Thanks for being spontaneous and ready to go at such late notice.  Your extraordinarily talented performance has opened many opportunities for you to sing in future events.

Panther Softball Park In-Augural Game

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

It’s official.  The new Panther Softball Park is open.

The ribbon cutting ceremonies started off last night with Dr. Tony Prothro, Superintendent, thanking the crowd of several hundred for helping pass the much needed millage that will bring Benton School buildings and facilities into the 21st century.

After an introduction of past and present school board members, the Panther Softball players were introduced, then alumni players from as far back as 1997, were introduced as the opposing team.

The ceremonial first pitch was thrown by Kitty Smith, wife of the late Coach Smith who took Panther Softball teams to state playoffs multiple times.  An exhilirating, tear-jerking  a cappella performance of the National Anthem by Shelly Bradley ushered in the in-augural game.

The opening of the park also marked the unveiling of the largest video display board in any high school sport in Arkansas.  Benton Schools has contracted with YourAdTeam to manage the new video board at the state-of-the-art Panther Softball Park.  The new complex, along with the video board, is the first for any public school system in Arkansas.

Ace Signs of Arkansas, worked with Benton Athletic Director, Scott Neathery, in the purchase and installation of the video board.  YourAdTeam is responsible for ad sales, video ad production and management during each softball game.
