4 Ways to Outperform Your Competitor

In this competitive society we live in, generating new business is tough. Once you get the business, you certainly don’t want to lose it. Here are 4 ways to outplay your competitor:

1) Response Time: Communication & response time is the number one factor for keeping or losing a client.

2) Add Value: Don’t be just an order taker.  Add value by offering alternatives or additional services that will help meet your client’s needs more thoroughly.

3) Show and Tell: Visual aids or examples help your client understand exactly what you are proposing.

4) Fire Alarm: There will be crisis and some of them will be your fault. Take responsibility. Communicate with your client. Work through the problem efficiently. You gain trust and confidence by working calmly and efficiently through a crisis situation…  especially when the crisis was your fault.
